Poly Guangzhou Creative Apartment is a residential interior design for a 90 square meter home in Guangzhou. The design follows the idea that less is more. Decoration is reduced and the functions are clear on entering. Movable walls divide the space, so the living room can be made larger or smaller according to family needs. Materials include black steel for the desktop, marble for the bar counter, cotton and linen for the sofa and wood for the walls. White, black and wood tones keep the clean space warm rather than cold.

10 degrees design, founded in Guangzhou in 2009, has a team of 60 people and 30 designers. - The Core of Living. With abundant supply of materials, consumption seems to become a behavior habit, and living space has grown into a storage place where I was drowned. The core of living should be the expression of myself, a place of idealization and enlightenment, and a source of freshness and durability. Perhaps the core of minimalism is not to reduce anything to the minimum, but to keep only what I love most in my heart.
- Inspiration
- The design concept of "less is more" has been influencing the design industry. In the new moment, what is the core significance of "less"? From the current life experience and feelings, designers believe that perhaps "less" is the most concise expression of "self". In such "less", people can see "more".
- Research
- At present, the rich material supply, the influx of rich information, high-speed urban life and high-intensity work make people unconsciously speed up the pace of life. Focus on life and create a quiet and resting space for people. Less is more. There is no redundant function in the whole space. Color matching is simple, warm and unsaturated. The movable wall creates more possibilities for the change of space and lifestyle on the premise of meeting the basic functions.
- Challenge
- Mainly white, black and wood color, so that the space will not have a cold feeling when it is clean, so as to achieve a blank, plump and warm life feeling.
