About Impression Residential House
This house was designed for the couple with two child in a residential area. The main idea was to play with a variety of materials and colors, creating a mix interrelationships and distinct areas with their own character. It is a house as a ideal for high density urban living, with a fluid scheme creating a haven of joy in the middle of the city. When walking Into this house, your eyes are immediately drawn to the coral cabinet next the door, while the other is a spectacular city's view, which has been given a very relaxing atmosphere, and bring the light through all the space.
About Changi Lin
Founded in 2017, GA Design Shenga Interior aims to play with the space architecturally,but also with every material they choose.The word of "Shenga" comes from the idea of " Structural timbers" in Chinese.The timbers is the basic element, used for any architecture and interior design. The idea encourages the company to explore things off the normal path, to make people experience a better life.All the projects they designed also focus on cosiness; Building an atmosphere that is well-adapted to the days and nights.

Design Details
- Unique Properties
- The main inspiration is from the traditional Chinese gate in the garden. The composition of the arch becomes a passageway between space and space. Everyone can see a scene from one side which is totally different from what you see when standing on the opposite side. This penetrating arch creates a beautiful picture-like scenery. When sitting on the sofa, the left side is the sunlight, and the right side is greeted with a three-dimensional triangular coral red cabinets and glazed blue Italian mosaic tiles, creating a amazing sense when entering the house at the first time.
- Inspiration
- The owners is a couple who live in Europe for a long time and love to engage in art.When they decide to get back in Taiwan , the most important thing is to have a house which express their personality. Having incomparable curiosity and eagerness to try new things is the way they believe. They dreamed to live in a house that surrounding with color and creativity. The primary concept is to create an unlimited space that is special in every different corner.

- Impression house is located in an old residential area of Taipei Wan-HUA area and this is a new nineteen-floor building which just finish in 2019.
- Challenge
- The couple have two little boys.One is 8 years old and the other is 3 years old.They hope to give the boys a place where they can play together and have their own space at the same time.

- Operation and Interaction
- The house is located in an old residential area of Taipei .The brief was simple: to design a house in a functional and comfortable style. “They left all of the initiative to us for the design, ” recalls the designer Max Lin. The immediate reaction was to make the house which became united with light , fun and personal style.
