Beyond 100 Years is a residential interior design located in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. The project creates a comfortable and elegant living atmosphere for young families and other residents. The reception area and the lobby follow the architectural facade concept, and the interior landscape is brought inside to complement the large hall. Window grilles inspire a flower grille motif with balanced and symmetrical tones. Elegant accessories and handmade artworks recall the ocean and the nearby port. Modern furniture is combined with traditional colors and patterns.

- Unique Properties
- The design concept aims to create a comfortable, unique and elegant living atmosphere to adapt to a series of specific markets including young families, to set a unique tone for architecture and interior design, and to distinguish it from other nearby residences. The focus of the space is to provide a high level of comfort, while maintaining simplicity and flexibility to accommodate the daily work of the residents.
- Inspiration
- The case is located in the Kaohsiung Yawan Development Zone. As the coast of Kaohsiung Port with an advantageous geographical location, the city began its development. The city and modern design methods that are famous for the port and the ever-fast-developing shipping and commercial city life are proposed, and the location of the project offers a panoramic view of Dagang from above.
- Research
- In the interior space, the interpretation of window grilles inspired the design of the flower grille and introduced balanced and symmetrical tones, adding contours to the urban landscape and skyline through the window panels. A pair of stunning peacocks symbolize good luck and prosperity through artistic presentation as indicators in the space. The use of modern furniture in all spaces emits a touch of traditional decoration colors and furniture patterns that represent the traditional characteristic of the place.
- Challenge
- It is necessary to consider the appearance of the architectural concept to echo this harmoniously, and to complete an elegant and comfortable space positioning, to consider the geographical location of the port to pursue the concept of "beauty", to apply and practice the whole idea.
- Realization and Technology
- For indoor public areas, interesting architectural facade concepts are considered, this principle is applied to the interior of the reception area and lobby area, and the interior landscape is integrated into the interior to complement the design language of the large hall. Interpret the ocean through elegant accessories and hand-made products, make a perfection of the overall design concept.
