A' Design Award in Furniture Design Goes to Green Nest Planter by Utsav Khadka
The international grand jury of the 2020 - 2021 A' Design Award & Competition recognizes Utsav Khadka for furniture design

More About Green Nest Planter
Green Nest is a planter stand inspired by the characteristics of a design classic, the E1027 side table by Eileen Gray. The structure is made of powder-coated tubular steel with a chrome-plated finish, which recalls the tubular frame of the original table. A circular base supports a planter with soil and plants and accepts pot sizes from 80 mm to 150 mm. Additional sections at the back of the frame provide space for hanging planters. The planter stand measures 600 mm by 500 mm by 700 mm.

- Unique Properties
- The E1027 side table by Eileen Gray, This is perhaps the classic among the classics. Side table, Height-adjustable base with the pin to support the structure, powder-coated tubular steel in black or chrome-plated. Tabletop clear crystal glass, which is transparent or grey smoked glass or black lacquered metal. It feels like it will not hold the structure and kept in it, but it supports items when kept. They took some of the side table characteristics and made a planter with a few attributes with it.

- To Create a product inspired by characteristics of a Design Classic: They had to get the characteristics of the E1027 side table by Eileen Gray.
