Regarding Xi Space Tea House
Xi Space is a tea house located in Ningbo, China, with an area of 110 square meters. The interior brings together a tearoom, a work area and a display setting for a private collection of tea ware, calligraphy and painting. Bricks, wood, marble and paintings form the main material palette. The layout gives the daily ritual of tea a calm and ordered frame. The design reflects the belief that beautiful objects refresh the mind and that collecting is an act of caring for things rather than a pursuit of wealth. The space is intended for rest, work and sharing with friends.
About Liangfeng Hu
Design is too sticky if it is only emotional, but it will become uninteresting if it is only rational. Design and life are the same, it's a matter of choice, and one can be specialized but not stubborn. To Alex HU, drawings are the creation of sketches, and this process is also the cultivation of his rational side. He believes that as a designer, he need to have the right control over the overall space and tailor the lifestyle of the different owners with respect to their various characteristics.
