Über Light Weaving Lichtinstallation
Light Weaving ist eine Außenlichtinstallation in Form eines Weihnachtsbaums. Die Konstruktion besteht aus lasergeschnittenen Edelstahlrohren, die 80 Dreieckseinheiten bilden und an mehr als 240 Schweißpunkten miteinander verbunden sind. Acrylgarn wird von Hand über das Metallgerüst gewebt, wobei die Webtechniken der indigenen Völker Taiwans zur Anwendung kommen. Computergesteuerte LED-Leuchten und ein Lichtsensor passen die Farben an ein Zeitsystem sowie an das natürliche Licht an, um Mitternacht bleibt der Farbton blau. Der Entwurf bringt filigrane Webkunst in den Außenraum und macht sie für die Öffentlichkeit erlebbar.

- All the Christmas trees in this city are made of metal materials and light and weave installation arts. With LED lighting programmed effects, the production team wants to create a fantastical and wonderful atmosphere. Watching fluorescence penetrating through all the woven totem creates an unlimited cutting space effect. This effect will lead people to relax and develop visitors infinite imagination.

- In this project, the team uses computer-controlled timing and light sensor to manipulate the equipment based on environmental lights and natural lights. According to this process, LED lights will change with the timing system. When midnight comes, the light will stay in blue tone to bring clearer fluorescence illusion.
- Forschung
- Generally, most of the weaving artworks are exhibited inside museums because of the protection issue. This time our team tries to bring those delicate weaving artworks outdoor for our audience to have new experiences. By watching and touching the artworks, we hope the audience and creators can create their unique bond via those artworks. Through this two way communication, the audience and creators can feel each other and bring this communication to the spiritual level.
- Inspiration
- Combing weaving techniques of Taiwan indigenous people, the production team wants to present an image that sunlight at dawn penetrates the spider web and create fantastical lights effects like a dream catcher.

- The exhibition started from 15 November 2019 to 2 January 2020 in Banqiao District, New Taipei City, Taiwan.
