Über Gaofuli Hochhaus

Gaofuli ist ein gemischt genutztes Hochhaus in Shanghai, China. Das Gebäude befindet sich in der Nähe von Denkmalschutzgebieten und der Yanzhong-Grünanlage und verfügt über eine nach Osten gerichtete Sichtachse zu einem zentralen Wahrzeichen der Stadt. Der Entwurf greift die traditionelle Shikumen-Architektur durch vertikale Kompositionen, polygonale Umrisse und abgemilderte Ecken mit abgeschrägten und sich verjüngenden Formen auf. Die Fassade verbindet kupferfarbene Metalle mit warmen, keramikartigen Paneelen. Die Ost- und Südseite holen Tageslicht und Ausblicke ins Gebäude, während das teilweise aufgeständerte Erdgeschoss den Eingang und die Vorfahrt an der Nordseite anordnet.

Betriebsablauf: The design draws from the traditional architectural style of classic Shanghai buildings. The iconic shapes of Gaofuli's structures have been abstracted, resulting in softened corners with chamfered and tapered forms. In tribute to the distinctive Shikumen-style doorways.
