Über Chicago Line Sessel

Chicago Line ist ein Sessel mit passendem Hocker, konzipiert für lange Ruhephasen im Sitzen. Der Sessel besteht aus Massivholz, das mit Fünf-Achs-Technologie bearbeitet wird, und die Armlehnen werden auf einer CNC-Drehmaschine geformt. Die Sitzfläche verbindet zwei sanfte, der menschlichen Anatomie folgende Rundungen mit einem Hochleistungsschaum. Sämtliche Holzteile sind so bearbeitet, dass der Sessel wie aus einem Guss wirkt. Die Form ist von der modernen und industriellen Architektur der Stadt Chicago inspiriert. Der Hocker erweitert den Komfort und vervollständigt das Ensemble.

We overcame these challenges through a collaborative process involving designers, engineers, and woodworkers, along with a continuous cycle of prototyping and testing. The result is a design that harmonizes aesthetics, comfort, and efficiency, while staying true to values of quality and durability.

After several iterations, the project was completed in 2024 with the final prototype, and its official launch is scheduled for 2025.
