Über Kp.a Ausstellungsraum

KP.A ist ein Ausstellungsraum von etwa 1000 Quadratmetern in Hefei, China. Die Gestaltung präsentiert Häuser, Stühle und andere Gegenstände des täglichen Bedarfs als grundlegende Lebensbedürfnisse und nicht als Luxusgüter. Kuben unterschiedlichen Volumens gliedern das Innere in Bereiche mit verschiedenen Funktionen und schaffen freie Bewegungswege. Holz wird über große Flächen eingesetzt, um an die Getreidefelder zu erinnern, die einst das Grundstück bedeckten. Einfache Formen, zurückhaltende Farbigkeit sowie klares Licht und Schatten mindern den kommerziellen Charakter des Ortes und erzeugen eine ruhige Atmosphäre.
