Om Bradco Fabriksbygning
Bradco er en industribygning designet til produktion af urremme og eksklusive lædervarer i Castelo de Paiva, Portugal. Fabrikken er planlagt omkring naturligt lys. Der er placeret adskillige ovenlysvinduer på taget, så produktionsområdet forbliver lyst for medarbejderne. Sten fra regionen er anvendt på facaden sammen med glas og stål for at forbinde bygningen med dens omgivelser. Store glaspartier skaber gennemsigtighed mellem det indre og det omgivende landskab. Projektet blev gennemført mellem 2019 og 2020.

- Bradco, the Industrial Unit. The factory that produces luxury in Portugal! Located in the municipality of Castelo de Paiva. The industry is distinguished by the fact that it is a company with a lot of light, unlike many.

Several skylights were designed on the factory roof so that the interior would convey a better state of mind to the employees. Stone from the region was used abroad to link the building to the territory where it belongs.

- Bradco was a huge creative challenge for EM Paralelo. It was a very attractive architectural project due to its industrial characteristics and for being able to combine a factory in such a beautiful landscape. Representing Bradco in Portugal was a source of pride. Being able to contribute to the growth of the factory and the number of jobs was very challenging.

- Bradco industry is an industrial unit in Castelo de Paiva. With the objective of strengthening research and technological development and Innovation, a process that has led, above all, to the increase in jobs, the company of the Swiss business group Brasport activated an investment of more than 3.1 million euros, with financing of more of 1.5 million euros. Company in the sector of manufacture of bracelets and luxury leather goods, in which it assumes itself as a leader.
- Inspiration
- The inspiration for this project was above all the challenge of designing a different industry with local characteristics.
Materials such as stone from the region, glass and steel were explored.
The landscape was very important in defining the project as it allowed a lot of transparency between the interior and the exterior.
