Y Dyluniad

Am Flora Darlunio

Mae Flora yn ddarlun ffantasi i hyrwyddo creadigrwydd ac adrodd straeon yr artist, gan ddarlunio blodeuo microbiota gastroberfeddol wedi'i ffrwythloni gan yr amgylchedd gastrig corddi. Mae'r blodeuo yn cael ei ddarlunio gan betalau o Bacteroidetes, Bifidobacteriam, ac Enterococcus, pistils Lactobacillus a stamens o Enterococcus faecalis yn gorwedd ar goesynnau Escherichia coli. Mae'r blodyn ei hun yn dod i'r amlwg ar goesynnau Clostridium. Mae Bacillus Cereus, bacteria hir siâp gwialen yn eu cam arthomitus yn atodi gan ffibrau i'r epitheliwm berfeddol, yn tyfu'n ffilamentaidd, ac yn sborio.

Mae Flora Darlunio yn enillydd Gwobr Haearn A' Design Award, cydnabyddiaeth fawreddog a roddir i ddyluniadau da sydd yn bodloni'r gofynion proffesiynol a diwydiannol a ddisgwylir gan greadigaethau wedi'u dylunio'n dda. Mae enillwyr Haearn yn dangos medrusrwydd mawr, arbenigedd uchel, dealltwriaeth arbenigol a gallu creadigol eu crewyr. Disgwylir i Flora Darlunio fod yn greadigaeth uchel ei bri, a edmygir ac a anwylir, sydd yn ymarferol ac yn arloesol. Mae'r dyluniad buddugol hwn o Wobr Haearn A' Design Award yn integreiddio arferion gorau'r diwydiant ac mae ganddo nodweddion technegol cymwys wedi'u cysylltu â gwybodaeth ymarferol a dawn. Priodweddau Unigryw: Creating a visual pun on the idea that gastric flora might be blossoming flowers in the digestive tract, the artist set out to create a flower composed of the bacteria found in the gut.

Technoleg Cynhyrchu: Created using Cinema 4D, a 3D modeling program, and Photoshop on a Mac.
Her Dylunio: Creating a flower that both looked like a flower, but was also easily recognized as being constructed of recognizable bacteria required a creative balance between the two.
Ymchwil: The artist researched the common bacteria, called flora, of the gut. The artist studied electron micrographs depicting these different bacteria, and created 3D models of the different bacteria. The artist arranged the 3D-modeled bacteria to construct a flower, using different bacteria for different parts of the flower. The churning gastric juices and primordial environment of the gut comprises the environment from which the flower grows. The flower springs forth from the microvilli found in the lining of the small intestine.
Ysbrydoliaeth: The artist is a certified medical illustrator working in the advertising and marketing of the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. Self promotional work created for clients, and prospective clients, is a chance to promote the artist's creativity, artistry and storytelling skills in visual science.
Hyd y Prosiect: The project was in development for three weeks at the artist's studio in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida, USA.
Llif Gweithrediad: The illustration is meant to be enjoyable and memorable by playing on the pun of gastric flora.
