Am Hera Cwch Hwylio

Mae Hera yn gysyniad cwch hwylio wedi'i ysbrydoli gan gychod hwylio rasio J-Class a adeiladwyd yn y 1930au. Diffinnir y dyluniad gan ddau gyfaint sy'n croestorri. Mae cyfaint dec yn llifo dros y corff o'r bow tuag at y safle llywio, lle mae'r dec yn amlapio o amgylch y corff ac yn ffurfio llywiau integredig. Mae gan y corff arwynebau rheoledig wedi'u hysbrydoli gan ddylunio moduron, gyda uchafbwyntiau'n rhedeg ar hyd yr ochrau. Mae croestoriad y ddau gyfaint yn creu'r agoriadau golau dydd ac yn dal y cynhalbyst ar gyfer yr olwynion llywio. Mae Hera yn mesur 48 metr o hyd ac fe'i adeiladwyd o gyfansawdd carbon ysgafn.

Mae Hera Cwch Hwylio yn enillydd Gwobr Efydd A' Design Award, cydnabyddiaeth hynod fawreddog a roddir i ddyluniadau rhagorol sydd yn nodedig am greadigrwydd, dyfeisgarwch a chraffter. Mae enillwyr Efydd yn arteffactau medrus iawn a thrawiadol o greadigol sydd yn dilysu profiad helaeth, dychymyg a dyfeisgarwch eu dylunwyr. Disgwylir i Hera Cwch Hwylio fod yn wrthrych uchel ei fri, a edmygir ac a anwylir, sydd yn nodedig o broffesiynol ac arloesol. Mae'r dyluniad buddugol hwn o Wobr Efydd A' Design Award yn ymgorffori arferion gorau mewn celf, gwyddoniaeth, dylunio a thechnoleg, ac yn rhagorol am ei sylw i fanylion. Mae Hera Cwch Hwylio yn bodloni anghenion yn odidog, yn cyffwrdd â dyheadau, yn swyno teimladau ac yn apelio at chwilfrydedd.

Priodweddau Unigryw: The innovative deck is the biggest visual innovation: its volume celebrates wind and speed as it flows over the hull, from the bow to the steer. The narrow tip merges seamlessy into the bow of the yacht and it grows wider towards the steer, where it wraps around the hull creating its unique integrated rudders.
The hull design has very contolled surfacing inspired by automotive design, where meticulously controlled highlights run along its sides.
The intersection of these two volumes seamlessly creates the opening for the day-light and they integrate the support for the steering wheels.

Technoleg Cynhyrchu: Using new generation of hull design and lightweight, carbon composite construction, Hera is expected to surf exceeding 25 knots of speed downwind,
The latest carbon construction technology provides for a reduced displacement and an increased rigidity.
Ymchwil: This project was inspired by the J-class yachts designed in the 1920s and 30s to compete for the America’s cup. Although this concept does not follow the Nathanael Herreshoff’s Universal Rule of those single masted ships, Hera still wants to represent the same feeling and emotional expression of those vessels. The most advanced technologies, materials and production methods have been taken into consideration for this yacht, to best integrate future and tradition. The general design language is inspired by the automotive world, caractherized by tense and fast lines stretching across the whole length of the hull, to define the speed of the geometry in a minimal and yet sophisticated way.
Hera is a concept sailboat where the top racing performance are married to spacious living space on deck and inside, aiming to offer the racing experience at the highest level of competition and the cruising enjoyment in the maximum comfort.
Ysbrydoliaeth: Hera is a concept sailing yacht inspired by J-Class vessels, the single-masted racing sailboats built in the 1930s to compete in the America’s Cup. This concept is a futuristic interpretation that celebrates these peak racers through innovative materials and innovative shapes.
Hyd y Prosiect: The project is a personal visual concept privately realized between February and May 2019 in Shanghai and Munich by Nicola Mondini.
