Am Ro54 Tŷ Unteulu

Tŷ unteulu yw RO54 a adeiladwyd ar safle ar lethr bryn yn Los Angeles. Mae'r tŷ yn defnyddio cynllun lefelau hollt gyda phlatiau llawr ar oleddf wedi'u trefnu o amgylch gwagle canolog. Mae grisiau pontio canolog yn dod â golau'r haul a chysylltiad gweledol i'r lefel ddyfnaf, sy'n lleihau'r pellter corfforol a seicolegol rhwng ystafelloedd. Cafodd y gragen allanol ei melino â CNC o ddyluniad digidol ac mae'n dilyn ffurfiau llyfnlin ceir. Mae cantilifer 16 troedfedd ar yr ail lawr yn ffurfio canopi mynedfa. Mae cynlluniau llawr agored yn caniatáu aildrefnu dodrefn.

Mae Ro54 Tŷ Unteulu yn enillydd Gwobr Aur A' Design Award, cydnabyddiaeth aruthrol o fawreddog a roddir i ddyluniadau o'r radd flaenaf, rhyfeddol a rhagorol. Mae enillwyr Aur yn greadigaethau hynod arloesol, gweledigaethol a disglair o ysblennydd sydd yn adlewyrchu athrylith, doethineb a medrusrwydd eu dylunwyr. Disgwylir i Ro54 Tŷ Unteulu fod yn ddyfais hynod glodfawr, arloesol a chofadwy sydd yn cyflwyno gwerth digynsail. Mae'r dyluniad buddugol hwn o Wobr Aur A' Design Award yn brosiect ysblennydd a pharchus sydd yn elwa yn fawr ac yn symud ymlaen ffiniau celf, gwyddoniaeth, dylunio a thechnoleg. Her Dylunio: How can we minimize the physical and psychological distances between different chambers in a residential assemblage? Most homes are constructed with rooms arranged in either horizontal or vertical layouts, which often lead to partitioning and separation due to privacy or functional requirements. Walls, doors, and other barriers typically divide these spaces.
Ymchwil: Our aim for tackling this stoic problem was to reduce the time (Δt) required to access other spaces in the program, physically or psychologically. We looked at the problem on a horizontal plane (xy axis), where we aimed to dissolve all unnecessary divisions. This meant direct visual connection from one space to most other spaces in the house, which shortened the time of accessing information in other parts of the house, therefore reducing its psychological distances.
Ysbrydoliaeth: The design vocabulary was informed by streamline automotive aesthetics, proposing every technology in the house to have exponent performance discreetly, allowing the architectural space to deliver a sensory performance.

Llif Gweithrediad: The project itself provided for an inclusive engagement with its surrounding space by means of large open spaces and utilization of the ideals of transparency for honest integration into its surrounding community. There is little to hide and what belongs to the house belongs to the neighborhood and conversely, what belongs to the neighborhood is brought into the house. The architecture in turn demands a change of attitude from its occupants towards the community, to be open and to be known.
