Obsidian Wing je lenoška navržená pro současné domácnosti, umělecké prostory a butikové kanceláře. Křeslo je inspirováno tvarem ptačích křídel a převádí strukturu křídelních kostí a linie napětí do podoby nábytku. Opěradlo ve tvaru křídla obepíná sedící osobu a poskytuje pocit útočiště a opory. Jako základní materiál je použit vysoce výkonný plast, tvarovaný pomocí 3D tisku a přesného počítačem řízeného obrábění. Povrch má matně černou úpravu s vykládanými kovovými stříbrnými liniemi. Obsidian Wing má rozměry 550 x 650 x 800 milimetrů.

The chair not only offers comfortable seating but also, through its unique form and materials, creates a spatial narrative that embodies both Eastern philosophical ideas and contemporary aesthetics, providing users with an immersive experience that feels as if they could take flight while seated.

Designová výzva: The core concept of the design is to transform the imagery of wings providing protection and extension into the form of a chair. The main challenge lies in balancing the lightness of the wing like structure with its load bearing capacity, achieving a fusion of metallic silver lines and matte black textures.
Výzkum: Seated in the chair feels like growing obsidian wings, freezing a moment of burgeoning power into static form. Its enveloping wing like structure creates psychological shelter, turning sitting into a posture of gathering momentum. Exploring bionic integration with modern furniture, it balances aesthetics and ergonomics, presenting a design both powerful and poetic.
Inspirace: Inspired by the imagery of sitting as if sprouting black wings, the chair draws on the fluid structure of avian wing bones, mechanical distribution of wing spars, and tension lines of tendons, translating the grace and power of nature into furniture language. It offers a sense of being guarded and supported, symbolizing rest, release, and spiritual freedom from daily routine.
Doba trvání projektu: The design had started in Shenyang in January 2025, completed in Shenyang in June 2025, and displayed in the museum of Lu Xun Academy of Fine Arts in Shenyang in June in 2025.
Provozní postup: Suitable for modern home living rooms, artistic studies, luxury model rooms, boutique hotel lounges, and creative office spaces. It can serve as a focal art piece for the space, combining practical functionality with visual appeal, and complements a variety of design styles such as luxury, and avant garde.
