O designu Scholars Xuntang Primární funkce: Hotelový interiér
Scholars Xuntang je hotelový interiér vytvořený v historických obytných budovách ve městě Wu-si v Číně. Interiér zabírá 5400 metrů čtverečních a zachovává charakter bílých stěn a černých tašek. Původní konstrukce byly ochráněny a zpevněny, takže stopy času zůstávají viditelné. Výzdoba je zdrženlivá a umožňuje vyniknout staré struktuře. Mezi materiály patří dřevěné povrchové úpravy, kámen, zlaté cihly, sklo, tapety, nátěry, len, hedvábí a malacký ratan. Místní hedvábné a lněné textilie odrážejí regionální řemesla. Návrh propojuje hosty s přírodou a dává starým budovám nové využití.
