Proof of Rain és una escultura de vidre contemporània inspirada en la pluja. L'obra està feta de vidre modelat en calent en diversos tons de blau. Petites gotes, formades mitjançant treball a la flama amb un efecte controlat d'esquitxades, representen gotes de pluja. Una forma bufada de color blau sota les gotes representa l'acumulació d'experiències vitals. L'escultura mesura 380 per 200 per 450 mil·límetres. Proof of Rain es presenta com una instal·lació estàtica, i la llum revela la profunditat i els reflexos del vidre. La intenció és unir la natura i l'artesania en una sola forma.

Propietats Úniques: This is a contemporary glass art piece that uniquely combines hot glass shaping with symbolic representation. The piece features droplets, shaped by splashing effects, symbolizing raindrops. The blue blown form beneath them represents the accumulation of life experiences. What sets this design apart is its innovative approach to capturing the natural essence of rain, blending technical precision with emotional depth, resulting in a striking, meaningful artwork that merges nature and craft.

Tecnologia de Producció: The piece was created using advanced hot glass shaping techniques, where molten glass was carefully blown into forms with varying shades of blue. The droplets were shaped through flameworking tecnics with a controlled splashing effect, simulating the impact of rain. Precision in temperature control and timing was essential to achieve the desired texture and fluidity in the glass. The final form was carefully constructed to represent both the raindrops and their accumulation, capturing the interplay between craftsmanship and nature.
Repte de Disseny: The creative challenge in artwork is lay in capturing the delicate essence of rain through glass, balancing artistic expression with technical precision. The difficulty stemmed from the need to replicate the fluid, dynamic nature of raindrops using static material. Overcoming the physical constraints of glassblowing, such as controlling splashing effects and maintaining form integrity, was crucial. Additionally, integrating historical symbolism with contemporary techniques posed a challenge, demanding a deep understanding of both craft and meaning.
Recerca: The research behind the artwork is an experimental, focusing on the intersection of nature and glass art. The objective was to explore how glass can symbolically represent natural phenomena, specifically rain. The methodology involved trial and error, using hot glass shaping and splashing effects to replicate the fluidity of rain. Data was gathered through observation and adjustments to temperature, pressure, and technique. Insights revealed that blending symbolism with craftsmanship creates deeper emotional resonance. Durada del Projecte: The project started in 20th of February and finished in April 2025. It exhibited during CI BLOOM, which is a leading art fair in Turkey, İstanbul in 25-28 April 2024
