Sobre Stealth Jaqueta

Stealth és una jaqueta de ploma que es pot plegar en forma de coixí en forma de U. La secció inferior es plega cap amunt per formar un suport per al coll, i unes sivelles s'ajusten per adaptar-se al coll. Una construcció amb separadors de teixit manté la peça lleugera i en facilita la neteja. El farciment és ploma d'oca amb un poder calorífic (fill power) de 700 i un contingut de ploma del 90 per cent. El teixit exterior és fibra de bambú renovable, mentre que el teixit interior és fibra de grafè. Les costures es fan amb fil de niló d'alta resistència i punt de doble agulla. L'objectiu és proporcionar escalfor i un lloc per descansar durant els viatges.

This innovative garment challenges conventional designs by concealing its multifunctional nature within a streamlined silhouette, utilizing proprietary fabric-separator technology.

Repte de Disseny: The toughest part of this design activity was balancing creativity with practical feasibility. Internally, we faced the challenge of innovating beyond traditional down jacket designs to achieve warmth while ensuring slimness and multifunctionality. From a societal perspective, the product had to be stylish and meet modern consumers' environmental expectations. External obstacles included compliance with laws, production technology limits, and information accessibility.
Recerca: We conducted a design study aimed at developing a product that combines the functions of a down jacket and a U-shaped pillow. Through market research, user interviews, and prototype testing, we gathered feedback from travelers. Using design software and 3D printing technology, we created prototypes that participants tested and provided suggestions for improvement. The results showed that this design is not only warm but can also easily transform into a comfortable U-shaped pillow. This highlights the importance of user experience and opens new market opportunities with an eco-friendly and practical product.
Inspiració: The Stealth U Pillow Down Jacket was inspired by the need for multifunctional, portable outerwear. We integrated a down jacket with a U-shaped pillow to provide warmth and comfort, addressing the bulkiness of traditional jackets. Our unique fabric-separator technology ensures lightweight, compact folding, and superior insulation. Advanced materials enhance performance and sustainability.
Durada del Projecte: The project began in Shenzhen, China in December 2022, and concluded in Shenzhen, China in December 2023. It became available for sale on major e-commerce platforms and in offline stores starting in April 2024.
