Sobre Leaf Roof Cotxera Solar

Leaf Roof és una cotxera amb una teulada de plaques solars amb forma de fulla. L'estructura fa 5 per 7 per 3 metres i està feta de polímers reforçats amb fibra de carboni i vidre fotovoltaic transparent. Els panells solars bifacials capten la llum solar per ambdues cares i poden generar fins a 5 kilowatts pic. L'electricitat carrega els vehicles elèctrics aparcats a sota i dona suport al subministrament elèctric de la llar. Una aplicació connectada permet monitorar la producció i el consum d'energia en temps real. La forma de fulla fa referència a com les fulles capten la llum solar a la natura.
