Sobre Planetary Ring Anell

Planetary Ring és un anell fet amb material de meteorit. El disseny s'inspira en Muonionalusta, un meteorit de ferro trobat a Suècia. Un coixinet en miniatura, d'un mil·límetre de diàmetre, es col·loca al centre del disc de meteorit, de manera que el disc gira a mesura que qui el porta es mou, a la manera d'un planeta. La superfície conserva el patró natural del meteorit de ferro, format mitjançant mecanització i gravat àcid. El meteorit es deixa sense recobriment antioxidant, de manera que la textura canvia amb el temps. L'estructura de suport està feta de plata 925 i s'uneix sense soldadura.

Propietats Úniques: The Planetary Ring Meteorite Jewelry series includes rings and necklaces, which are originally designed by the jewelry brand of astronomical aesthetics HELIO. It is inspired by Swedish M meteorites – Muonionalustas which are the asteroids that fell on the earth with a history of billions of years.
It's cool to wear an asteroid fragment on your body. At the same time, as our body moves, it rotates like a planet with gravity and inertia. Unlike other jewelry, which is still, this design is alive.

Repte de Disseny: There are two challenges in the design of planetary rings.How to polish an iron meteorite into a standard oblate shape, and at the same time, make the surface appear wonderful “Wedmanster pattern”? Grinding into oblate shape by CNC machining, then washing the surface with strong sulfuric acid, causing natural corrosion and forming irregular lines.
How to realize the smooth rotation of meteorites and simulate the rotation of planets? A miniature bearing is embedded in the center of the meteorite, and the diameter of the bearing structure is only 1 mm.Only after precise assembly can smooth rotation be realized.
Recerca: The main design style of the brand "HELIO" is "unisex", and the cosmic celestial body is the intentional element that can best represent this design style. It is magnificent and mysterious, and the gender difference of human beings becomes small and meaningless under this scale.Through cooperation with The Meteorologic Society, we have studied a large number of meteorite materials composed of different mineral elements, and analyzed their characteristics and product feasibility. Factors include raw material cost, processing technology, environmental protection, safety, etc. and M meteorite in Sweden was selected.
Inspiració: The Planetary Ring Meteorite Jewelry series is specially designed for young people who travel through the city and yearn for the unknown.
