Sobre The Lakeshore Hualien Tranquil Hotel

El Lakeshore Hualien Tranquil és un hotel situat a la ciutat de Hualien, Taiwan. El disseny s'inspira en les muntanyes locals i l'oceà Pacífic, així com en la pintura The Beauty of Taroko de Ma Paisui. Les carenes de les muntanyes es transformen en geometries pentagonals a les bigues i columnes de la planta baixa, mentre que apareixen triangles al corredor i al sostre. Propietats Úniques: Master Ma Paisui painting The Beauty of Taroko inspires the design team on designing the exterior part of the building with the strange and magnificent mountains and rocks and the undulating sea of greenery in the lower part of the building, which is transformed into 3D pentagonal geometry and the triangles on the corridor and the ceiling. Furthermore, the undulating sea waves on the exterior walls of the building, bring the natural appearance of Hualien to the visitors provides a comfortable and convenient resting place.
Dimensions i Embalatge: The design team has set up different levels of building volume and retreating staggered configuration so that each room in every position is airy and well ventilated. The upper floor is partially retracted to create a hierarchical volume and give an interesting shape of the skyline, create a sky terrace and maximize daylighting. At the same time, it solves the problem of blocking the neighboring buildings so that the purpose of urban planning for sharing the beauty of the environment is achieved.

By this tragedy, once again awakening people's awareness of earthquake crisis prevention. Thus, in order to meet the goals of seismic design regulations and to protect the safety of the tourists, the geological characteristics and seismic zone coefficients of the site were taken into the consideration since the beginning of the construction planning of the Lakeshore Hotel Hualien.
Recerca: The hotel not only symbolizes the local cultural spirit but also provides a comfortable place for visitors from far away to relax. The Lakeshore Hotel Hualien incorporates the unique natural scenery of Hualien, such as clouds, mountains, forest, and sea, into the exterior of the building. Adopts master Ma Paisui's painting The Beauty of Taroko to transform mountains, forest waves, and waves into pentagonal and triangular geometries, which are presented on the corridor and ceiling of the first floor, and the exterior of the building also uses undulating lines to outline the image of waves.
Inspiració: The Lakeshore Hotel Hualien is located on the vast coastline of the Eastern Pacific Ocean and the luxuriant mountains that stretch for miles. Inspired by the mountains and the sea, the architect takes the edges and corners of the mountains and the waves of the sea as images and combines them with the painting The Beauty of Taroko by master Ma Paisui to visualize the majestic atmosphere of Taroko, which is surrounded by fog and mist.
Durada del Projecte: The project was completed in March 2021 in Hualien City, Taiwan.
