Repte de Disseny: There were two main challenges in this project. The first challenge was to integrate news and articles from different forums and websites by web crawlers. We spent tons of time on studying the best formate for not only displaying information effectively but also compatible with the source websites. The second challenge was to visualize intuitive charts and graphs for trading cryptocurrency. With limited size of a viewport, It was very difficult to put loads of information. A clear content structure and information hierarchy were required in this case.
Recerca: The design research of Uzidata began with studying the existing tech news media, crypto-wallet, forums, trading platforms, followed by qualitative research. Our objective was to investigate how a cryptocurrency trader receives large amounts of information efficiently. And provide a solution for an all-in-one dashboard to the users.
Inspiració: Uzidata was conceived when a few firm, fearless crypto-fanatics realized just how difficult it was to navigate through the countless substandard information that was circulating on the web. From opening ten tabs at a time to find a credible ICO review to scanning article after article for a neutral opinion on the future outlook of the market.
