About Vladimir Vashnev

Ptizzaryba is a multidisciplinary studio based in Moscow. Its work spans interior design, product design and custom-built furniture.
The studio puts a special emphasis on sensible and economical use of materials to achieve desired functionality, tactile and visual qualities. A particular interest lies in reuse of reclaimed materials and artefacts in a modern context. Limitations of every project are viewed as a catalyst for the creative process.

Ptizzaryba owns a workshop where every idea is tested before being used in a project. With an extensive background in traditional woodworking Vladimir and Dasha often create furniture pieces for their projects.
