হোয়েন দ্য প্রেজেন্ট মিটস দ্য পাস্ট হলো তাইওয়ানের তাওইউয়ান শহরে অবস্থিত একটি রেস্টুরেন্টের অন্তর্সজ্জা ডিজাইন, যা ২০১৫ সালের আগস্ট মাসে সম্পন্ন হয়। ১৯৮.৩৪ বর্গমিটার আয়তনের এই প্রকল্পে স্থানীয় একটি পুরোনো রেস্টুরেন্টকে নতুন রূপ দেওয়া হয়েছে। ডিজাইনটি চীনের সুঝৌ শৈলী থেকে অনুপ্রেরণা নিয়েছে এবং চীনা নন্দনতত্ত্বকে ভোজন-পরিসরে প্রয়োগ করেছে। চীনা কাষ্ঠ-নির্মাণ পদ্ধতির উপর ভিত্তি করে তৈরি জাফরির সঙ্গে ছাদকে সমন্বিত করা হয়েছে। খোদাই করা জানালার জাফরিযুক্ত ঐতিহ্যবাহী চীনা কাঠের দরজাগুলো করিডোরগুলোকে বিভাজিত করে এবং নমনীয় ব্যবহারের সুযোগ দেয়। আয়নাযুক্ত পৃষ্ঠতল দৃশ্যমান প্রশস্ততা বৃদ্ধি করে এবং বৃহৎ দেয়ালচিত্রগুলো ঐতিহ্যবাহী দৃশ্যাবলি চিত্রিত করে।
