Activity agnostic with 14 hours of battery life, it features a tracking app to collect real-time data on airflow composition, to monitor daily activity effects on the body.

The mask is made of polycarbonate outer housings with a clear Tritan plastic anti fog facepiece, and an over-molded LSR silicone gasket. The head strap was designed with spandex, polyurethane foam, and an acrylic pile with adjustable strap hardware. A custom flex CCA was developed with pressure, CO2, O2, humidity, and temp sensors to measure breath flow and composition to determine real-time metabolics and respiration.

Breath measurement is the most accurate way to measure metabolic activity, yet these tools were only available in labs and hospitals. Calibre is a wearable, real-time fitness metabolic tracker that measures breath flow and caloric burn of carbohydrates vs. fats, and oxygen uptake and other respiratory parameters. The data influences how daily routines and exercise affect the body and respiratory system.
Працягласць праекта: Initial project concept design and marketing research began early 2020 at Ottawa based Design 1st kicking off with R&D testing, detailed design, prototypes testing, and parts specification that spanned to mid-2021. Calibre is expected to launch in mass market in the Summer 2022.
