بالانكو أريكة معيارية مصمَّمة للمساحات الداخلية المعاصرة. يشير الاسم إلى الكابولي، وهو المبدأ الإنشائي المستخدَم للحد من الوزن المُدرَك للقطعة. يجمع بالانكو بين قاعدة منجَّدة معلَّقة، ومسند ظهر من الخشب الصلب، وطاولة جانبية مدمجة من الحجر الطبيعي على حامل معدني. تم تقليص نقاط الارتكاز الظاهرة إلى الحد الأدنى، فيبدو الحجم الكبير خفيفًا. ويخلق الخشب الصلب والنحاس الأصفر والحجر والكتان والجلد والمخمل تباينًا بين كثافة المواد والخفة البصرية. يبلغ الطول الإجمالي 3500 مم.
