"الحياة منخفضة الكربون" هو تطبيق للهواتف المحمولة صُمّم لشرح مفهوم العيش منخفض الكربون من خلال مشاهد تفاعلية ثلاثية الأبعاد. يستخدم التطبيق الواقع المحاكى لإظهار مدينة متأثرة بالتلوث. يربط المستخدمون بطاقة سفر حقيقية ويكسبون طاقة خضراء عند اختيارهم وسائل النقل الصديقة للبيئة والمشاركة في أنشطة الحد من الانبعاثات اليومية. ثم تُستخدم الطاقة الخضراء في غرس أشجار افتراضية وتحسين المشهد، كما يمكن استبدالها بهدايا. وتعرض مخططات بيانية واضحة النتائج المتحققة. ويهدف التطبيق إلى شرح مفهومي ذروة الكربون والحياد الكربوني بطريقة بسيطة وبديهية.
