حول Wolo التصميم الداخلي للفندق
"وولو" فندق يقع في كوالالمبور بماليزيا. يعكس التصميم الداخلي الثقافة الماليزية وقيم العلامة التجارية "وولو" بأسلوب معاصر وجريء. ويُشكّل تاريخ كوالالمبور المحور الرئيسي للتصميم؛ إذ صُنع كاونتر الاستقبال ومقبض المدخل الرئيسي يدويًا وكُسيا بطبقة نهائية من البيوتر المصنوع خصيصًا، في إشارة إلى التاريخ الطويل لإنتاج البيوتر في المدينة. كما استُخدمت التضاريس المتدرجة لحقول التعدين المحلية كنمط زخرفي لسجاد الممرات ووحدات الإضاءة المعلقة في السقف ومرايا الغرف. أما الجدار المميز في البهو فيشير إلى معنى اسم المدينة: ملتقى النهرين الموحل.

Wolo التصميم الداخلي للفندق هو فائز بجائزة A' Design Award الحديدية، وهي تقدير مرموق يُمنح للتصاميم الجيدة التي تلبّي المتطلبات المهنية والصناعية المنتظرة من الإبداعات حسنة التصميم. ويُظهر الفائزون بالحديدية مهارة كبيرة وتخصصًا عاليًا وفهمًا خبيرًا وقدرة إبداعية لدى صنّاعهم. ويُتوقع أن يكون Wolo التصميم الداخلي للفندق إبداعًا عالي التقدير ومحل إعجاب وحب، عمليًا ومبتكرًا. وهذا التصميم الفائز بجائزة A' Design Award الحديدية يدمج أفضل ممارسات القطاع، وله خصائص تقنية كفؤة ترتبط بالدراية والموهبة. ويحظى Wolo التصميم الداخلي للفندق بالاحترام لدقته، وقد صُمّم لتقديم تحسينات لجودة الحياة تساعد على جعل العالم مكانًا أفضل.

- الخصائص الفريدة
- The most uniques feature in this design is that the project reflect Malaysian culture as well as WOLO brand value in a contemporary, creative and bold way. An enormous amount of thought, consideration, attention to details has gone into every aspect of the project. There are so much to be shared and one of them is Kuala Lumpur long and glorious history of pewter products. The hotel reception counter and entrance grand handle is handmade and finished with custom pewter.

- The hardest part of this design activity apart from its deadline is transforming Kuala Lumpur’s “DNA” into the project. For example, Kuala Lumpur has long mining history and hence topography layered pattern of mining field is incorporated into steel hence, corridor carpet, ceiling pendant light and the hotel room mirror. It is noteworthy that one of the key features of interior design is the “Kuala Lumpur Wall” displaying in lobby where Lumpur means “mud” in Malaysia national language and coupled with Kuala it means “muddy confluence”. The design and installation of the wall is certainly challenging and watching the result is fulfilling.

- As a Malaysian designer who is born and bred in Kuala Lumpur, this project is inspired by “Kuala Lumpur”. With the great enthusiasm to make WOLO hotel a true Malaysian brand, Kuala Lumpur’s “DNA” has been incorporated into the design in such a way that history, cultures and stories of Kuala Lumpur are reflected in many aspects in WOLO hotel.
