Castelli di Ceramica is 'n modulêre keramiekpot wat ook as 'n vrugtebak of houer gebruik kan word. Die pot bestaan uit vier dele wat stabiel en presies inmekaarpassend op mekaar stapel. Wanneer dit toegemaak is, dien die stuk as 'n dekoratiewe voorwerp vir tafels en buffette, en dit kan ook blomme huisves. Wanneer die vier dele geskei word, dien elkeen as 'n bak of houer. Elke stuk word met die hand versier in die tradisionele styl van Castelli, 'n Italiaanse dorpie met 'n lang geskiedenis van keramiekvakmanskap. Die pot is vaatwasser-veilig.

Unieke Eienskappe: "Castelli di Ceramica" is a modular ceramic pot for use as a fruit bowl or container. The design revisits in a modern way the traditional heritage of ceramics of Castelli, one of the most important Italian centers of the handmade ceramics.
The decoration is handmade.
The design is accompanied by a business plan that aims to create work in the area and sell the product worldwide.
The project has already received the patronage of the major territorial institutions.
Afmetings & Verpakking: Height of the kit/pot from 35 to 60 cm
Maximum diameter from 20 to 50 cm
Etikette: pot, tableware, ceramic, innovative design, lifestyle, home design, heritage
Produksietegnologie: Modeling can be done on a lathe or plaster mold.
The final decoration is always done by hand by the Maestri Ceramisti (master potters) and takes up traditional themes of the centuries-old tradition of Castelli.
The kit can be made in different types of ceramic, in other words, fired at different temperatures to respond to different types of use.
All these firing methods can be applied to the product and allow to obtain products for different uses and particularly for food use.
Ontwerpuitdaging: The purpose of the project is to combine the Great Beauty of Italian art with the languages of contemporary living, to spread the centuries-old artisan tradition of the ceramics of Castelli in the international furniture sales channel.
The project, in addition to the design aspects, is also enriched by an articulated business plan that aims to create work in the area and revitalize the local artisan tradition, in a territory that is experiencing a moment of difficulty also due to an earthquake that it recently hit the area creating enormous human and material damage.
Navorsing: The culture and the productive identity of the territory form the basis of this project and process. Starting from the analysis of the artistic reality of the village of Castelli, we have created a complete strategy: from the design, to the production system, up to the sales strategies.
The whole project is realized with the collaboration of the Maestri Ceramisti of Castelli and putting their artisan heritage at the center.
The project is completed by a marketing plan that wants to connect small handicraft shops with the international public.
Inspirasie: The tradition of Ceramics of Castelli is our inspiration. In the heart of Italy, Castelli is a charming village 150 km from Rome. Here, ceramic is an excellence which has centuries of history, exhibited in the world's most important museums.
In this project, the ceramic is revitalized to give a contemporary dimension to a centuries-old tradition: modularity, ease of use and timeless design, with hand-decorated pieces.
The Great Beauty of the Italian handicraft with a contemporary approach.
Projekduur: The project is based on the city of Castelli, an enchanting village located about 150 km from Rome, under the slopes of Mount Gran Sasso. A place of great artistic and scenic beauty, Castelli boasts a centuries-old tradition in the field of ceramics. The operational plan of the project is to develop the local production of the product and bring it to diffusion in the sales channels within 12 months.
Bedryfsvloei: When closed it is a lovely pot that can decorate furniture or tables. When open, it becomes a tableware kit with a great aesthetic impact, in which each part that can be used as a container or bowl. Also dishwasher safe, each pot is made up of four parts that can be easily assembled by overlapping them with their stable and precise interlocking. Function, beauty and ease of use: an object that combines a centuries-old artistic tradition to the needs of contemporary lifestyle.
