About Realm of Convergence Office

Realm of Convergence is an office and conference interior of 1,322 square meters in Taiwan. The floor holds eight large meeting rooms and four executive meeting rooms, fitted with folding glass partitions and movable acoustic walls that allow many layouts. The partitions run from the raised floor to the ceiling and are filled with acoustic insulation, so parallel meetings do not disturb each other. Cool lighting supports focus in meeting zones, while warm brown tones suit the lounges. Certified low-formaldehyde materials and ultra-clear glass bring daylight inside.

Unique Properties
The plan incorporates eight large and four Vip meeting rooms, each equipped with folding glass partitions and movable acoustic walls for added flexibility. Lighting varies by function: cool tones in meeting zones stress focus, while warm browns in lounges foster ease. Partitions extend from the raised flooring to the ceiling, featuring full acoustic insulation and blending local and imported panels. Multimedia systems allow all rooms to sync audiovisual content via intuitive interfaces. Ultra-clear glass ensures daylight, while flooring shifts from gray to muted rose, subtly defining zones.
Dimensions & Packaging
The project covers an area of 1322 square meters. Facilities include a reception desk, tea bar, locker room, printing room, two storage rooms, eight large meeting rooms, Vip lounge, three Vip meeting rooms, and a Chairman's office. Dual-corridor design separates functions: one leads from reception directly to the main meeting axis; the other is a fast Vip passage, ensuring discreet access without disturbing primary events. All window-facing edges are preserved for lighting, with glass partitions maintaining transparency and openness.

Production Technology
All surfaces utilize low-formaldehyde, Esg-certified green building materials. The design avoids high-energy, single-use luxury materials such as rare woods or stone. Color palettes are graded by function. Light greys and milky brown hues for shared and staff spaces, muted rose and grey for Vip areas to convey understated elegance. Expansive ultra-clear glass partitions ensure natural daylight circulates freely throughout.
Design Challenge
One challenge was meeting stringent fire-safety codes for large open meeting spaces, including natural smoke ventilation and smoke barriers. The design team concealed smoke vents within the ceiling structure and adopted automated descending smoke curtains, balancing regulation compliance with aesthetics. Another challenge was acoustic control. By combining raised flooring with double partition walls, each fully packed with acoustic insulation, the design ensures simultaneous meetings proceed without interference.
Research
Realm of Convergence, a 1,322 sqm venue in Nangang Software Park Phase II, is designed for international conferences. Inspired by a space station, it integrates eight large and four VIP rooms with nearly 100 configurations via folding glass and movable walls. Cool lighting supports focus, while warm browns foster ease. Acoustic partitions span from the raised floor to the ceiling, using local and imported panels. Multimedia systems enable synchronized content, Esg-certified materials cut impact, and modular partitions ensure flexibility, establishing the site as a flagship hub.
Inspiration
Located in the second phase of Nangang Software Park, Realm of Convergence is a 1,322 sqm floor designed for high-level international and domestic conferences. Previously limited to scattered small rooms, the client required an integrated venue for receptions, exhibitions, and multifunctional events. The design team envisioned a platform to 'gather global perspectives and amplify diverse voices.' Flexible meeting halls, fluid office functions, streamlined circulation, and color-zoned areas create a professional yet inclusive setting for global exchange.
Project Duration
The project finished in September 2024 in Taiwan.
Operation Flow
Since launch, the office has hosted shareholder meetings, international corporate exchanges, product exhibitions, and staff training. The client reports that the facility not only elevates corporate image but also provides guests with a comfortable, highly efficient setting for collaboration. Needs once met by renting external international conference halls are now satisfied internally, with superior multimedia and soundproofing ensuring smooth execution for gatherings of varying scales. The Vip rooms, in particular, have been praised by international visitors for their refined atmosphere.
