About Hero AI Daily Assistant
Hero is a mobile application designed as a daily assistant for iPhone users. Hero combines calendars, reminders, notes, news, groceries, weather and an AI assistant in one unified view. Coordination is simplified because availability, reminders and notes can be shared with family and friends, and comments can be added directly to each item. A voice interface updates the screen while the user speaks, which supports faster multi-step actions such as scheduling. The layout is modular and tab free, with compact overlays that keep the application simple as features grow.

- The hardest design challenge in building Hero is maintaining simplicity. Most productivity tools start with one or two niche functions but get clunky over time. With Hero, our goal is to continuously simplify and optimize as we add new features so the overall complexity doesn’t increase over time.
Another challenge is powering the entire app and its functions with voice actions and let users do more by doing less. - Research

- Every day, we juggle priorities across apps and people. The average person spreads their life across more than 30 apps per week. Since these apps don’t work together, things frequently slip through the cracks or get forgotten. To coordinate with others, people primarily text, which easily gets buried (and forgotten). And when our hands are full, we turn to voice assistants, which are only useful for simple requests that don’t require a UI.
