About The Flow Public Space
The Flow is a public space interior design for the shared areas of a residential building in Taipei City, Taiwan. The design theme is water, used as a metaphor for time and movement. A wood grill ceiling with curved wavy forms runs from the main entrance to the reception desk and continues through the lounge, the mailroom and the underground parking area. Corrugated stainless steel panels on the elevator hall walls suggest ripples. Reflective walls and white marble effect ceramic tiles widen the space visually. Wood and stainless steel were selected because both materials are recyclable.

- Research
- Just like water is a recyclable resource, Wood and stainless steel are major materials to carry out the design concept which are also 100% recyclable.
