About Selfors Housing
Selfors is a house created through the rehabilitation of a modernist villa from the 1960s. The original villa was partly altered by a prefabricated addition in the 1980s. The new design respects the modernist character of the earlier building. The three-story house covers 200 square meters and is arranged around a central staircase that acts as a natural ventilation shaft between the floors. A glazed south facade collects sunlight. The original wood structure was reused, and a new facade and new windows were added. Sheltered outdoor spaces surround the house.
