About Mai 12 Collection Silver Jewelry
Mai 12 Collection is a set of silver jewelry that includes a bangle and a ring. The design is inspired by the twelve indented corners, known as Mai 12, a feature of traditional Thai architecture in which the corners of a square structure are recessed. The collection reinterprets the indented stupa form by twisting the shape and shifting the corners to create dimension. The form is featured extensively in the religious architecture of the late Ayutthaya period, and can be found in stupas (chedi), building columns, and the tiered spires of the prasat architectural form
